Dear Parents:
Welcome to T. J. Elder Middle School. I want you to know how pleased we are to have your child at our school. The middle grade years are exciting and challenging years. We will do our best to keep you informed of your child’s progress. We also feel that close communication between home and school is of utmost importance in today’s education. With your help we can be partners in your child’s education. We have created a website with you in mind. Our goal is for the website to be an extension of the school to involve parents in our learning, school activities, and academic progress.
I encourage you to contact me anytime with questions or concerns you might have. Please communicate with me or your child’s teachers if you identify that your child is having academic, social, physical, or emotional problems. You may call the school, send a note, call me at home (478-552-1045), call my cell phone (478-521-2905), or email me at mbroxton@washington.k12.ga.us.
Your help and support are needed in making your child’s middle school years very enjoyable and successful. I am looking forward to a great year. I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s principal this year and I look forward to working with you and your child. Thank you in advance for your continued support and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Manzie Broxton
Principal
